Product Review for Rustic Cedar Small Straight Bench
Easy to put together and a very nice, sturdy bench. A bit small but that's what I wanted to store under my raised garden bed. I put a medium oak stain on the wood and they're good to go! 4 stars because there are alot of splits in the cedar legs - of course this is to be expected but it seems excessive to me.

First Piece I'm Not Happy With!
Product Review for Rustic Cedar Small Straight Bench
We have a 'set' of this furniture on our Farmer's Porch in the front of the house. It is lovely -- the chairs AND the round table assembled easily and look terrific. The benches SEEMED to be a good idea to use either to SIT ON or PLACE THINGS ON. However, when we assembled the benches, large cracks appeared on the sides under the outside front of the wood when hardware was screwed in. The benches are usable and we sit out quite often; however, the cracks detract from the overall appearance. This is THE FIRST TIME we've had any problem with these products ... the cracks, however, do not affect product function ... just appearance.
BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend
