Therefore cracks in Cedar furniture are quite normal and can happen at any time. The cracks can vary in sizes but are sure to not affect the quality or resistance of the product as this is a natural process of Cedar furniture.

I love this product! I have the futon also, and have stained and oiled them to look like yellow cedar. The grain is awesome and much better than the plain unfinished. It is a very beautiful look and solid feel. Because of today's thick mattresses and box springs, the headboard was only visible for about a foot. Perhaps the end poles should be larger to compensate. Still, it is an incredible value!

The bed itself is beautiful. The wood, so far, is gorgeous and I was happy with it. The instructions, however - are horibble. Please be prepared to have a drill handy which they don't tell you in the directions. They were so vague. But, other than that. Yes - the quality of the wood is amazing. :)

Love the look,it is beautiful however we found after our first night sleeping in it that it requires slats to support the foundation and mattress as it seems to let the bed sag. We added slats and it is much much better.
