I wasn't sure how well this would work because I installed it in the front gate column. My concern was it wouldn't get enough sunlight to keep the battery charged. I put two of these up, one on each side of a large brick mailbox. Before, delivery trucks would sometimes pass by if they were coming the direction that previously there were no numbers. Even without direct sunlight on one set of numbers, it is still brightly lit at night.
