Product Review for Arrow Yorktown Shed 10' x 14'
Used for Yard Storage Purchased in early July 2010, left it in the box until the NJ heat wave passed and put it together in late Sept. Whats Good: It has survived the record breaking snow storms in 2010/2011, and the high winds (the base is screwed to 4X4s buried in ground). It remains dry inside, but see comment below about assembly. Put together by my sister & I, two late 50-somethings. Took us two days; 1st day for the frame & walls, 2nd day for the roof and doors. Coincidentally, we saw a neighbor put up the same shed, by himself, just a week before we did ours. Can't imagine how he did it. You MUST follow all directions very carefully. We didn't overlap the roof panels correctly, so had a few issues with the last few screws, the holes did not line up. This also created some leaking during the first rain, which we cured with outdoor caulking. You need to examine the panels carefully to identify which goes where. They could be marked more clearly. Not So Great: 1) Waterproofing tape is provided for covering gaps in the roof at the top and the bends, this tape is not the best..the sharp metal of the roof tore it easily. 2) Manufacturer should supply touch up paint. It's easy to scratch the paint with tools.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
