I actually bought the Mission style of this box but they both seem to have the same attachment problem. My solution was the move the upper set of feet to the upper holes where the screws would have gone and then put the screws in the middle holes. You will need to use an offset screwdriver to make it easy but this should give it stability and still maintain the distance from the wall that the top needs to open. It is a beautiful mailbox, made in the USA, and a far better price than another California manufacturer who seems to have gone hog-wild on their pricing.

The quality is exceptional. However, when attaching it to a wall with two screws, the small round feet on the back of the box (to keep it from touching the wall) prevent you from tighting down the screws fully.

I bought two of these mailboxes for a duplex. All other manufacturers' mailboxes were simply too large and this one seemed the perfect size. The cost seemed high and the ship time seemed rather excessive in today's market; however, the aesthetic quality, construction, and size were great.

I just received this mailbox, and it is attractive and true to the image online. However, I will need to call the manufacturer as it contains only 2 screws at the top to attach it to-- in my case--a post on my porch. Once attached, the mailbox is insecure at the bottom and moves around. Not good! It needs to have something to secure the lower part. In all fairness, perhaps the manufacturer will have something to suggest, but at this point it looks like a design flaw.
