I like to cook by time and temperature... As perfect as the Camp Chef system is for outdoor heavy duty and camping cooking, that was the one thing missing. Fortunately, there is a hole in the BBQ Box designed for this item, and it's definitely a must-have for me! Baked potatoes are no longer a guessing game!

Until I added the Lid Thermometer I never could find why the back of the grill had little or no heat. Now I can regulate the temp, and I find I am using less wood than I was.
