With 12 years experience in the futon industry from delivery and set up, to sales and buying, Mike Gallawa began Night & Day Furniture. His goal: to solve all the issues that plague the words "futon frame". Things such as difficulty converting from sofa to bed, barrel nuts that never line up, and having your face on the floor to connect the seat to the back. Then, everyone's favorite, the dreaded hardware pack full of lots tiny pieces and parts. Just when you think you're ready to assemble, you open the box, and a hundred wooden parts fall out onto the floor from end caps to slat supports, frame stops to rollers. At this point, the you're saying a prayer that at least one of each correct part is there. It's enough to make one's head spin.

A freight carrier delivers your item if you select the free shipping option. We call it 'Self Service' because you'll need to move the package off of the truck yourself. At anytime, you can also upgrade your delivery in your Shopping Cart or on the product page. Check out your upgrade options below.Self Service (Included!):
- Delivery to: The delivery truck will park in front of your home, and you have to move the package off of the truck yourself.. You may want a friend or family member on hand for help.
- Packaging: The product will be left in the original packaging.
- Assembly: None
- Sometimes freight carriers offer their own services. Once we send you your tracking info, you can call the carrier directly to get more info. You'll need to pay the freight carrier directly for that though.
- Delivery to: Front door or equivalent. If you live in a home with a garage, the item will be left in your garage. If you don’t have a garage, the item will be left in your front entrance. If you live in an apartment above the first floor you may want to upgrade to Inside Delivery.
- Packaging: The item will be left in the original packaging.
- Assembly: None
- Delivery to: A room you choose inside your home. This includes up two flights of stairs (a flight is 4-15 steps.) Let us know if you need additional flights.
- Packaging: The delivery team will remove and dispose of all packaging.
- Assembly: The delivery team will unpack the product and provide up to 30 minutes of light setup with basic tools like screwing or bolting.
Delivery Notes
- Once your order is near, a rep from the shipping company will call and give you a 4 hour window to arrange for delivery.
- Just remember, setup services don’t include electrical, plumbing or component hookups. You can always have something carried up more than 30 steps or assembled for a longer time, but it’s extra of course. Just let us know.
