the umbrella opening is approximately 1.25 at the legs. our wind resistant pole is 1.75. they could have made the lower opening as wide as the upper opening and our umbrella would have worked.

This product is listed as 42"H & 42"W. That is false information. It is 42 wide but height, to most people, is from the ground up. Not here. It is shorter than an average dining table. [...]
