Only had it for about 6 weeks. Made a couple of fires (wood and charcoal) and cooked a pizza. Fire is hot but doesn't "put out" heat like an open firepit. Maybe we needed to use more charcoal for a hotter fire when cooking a pizza, but it took a LONG time to cook (way more than the few minutes stated in the instructions). It does look nice. Since purchasing have found "similar products" that sell for much less.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Shipping was not inconvenient at all! I left a note with instructions and I was able to receive the oven with no problem at all! The oven is a little small and low but it is already a hefty 240 pounds and can only imagine what a larger one would be like. The oven is economically priced and was pleasantly surprised when I received it. As you may already know, many other pizza ovens cost a fortune to buy and/or build so I would call this product a very fancy start to a possible larger scale project. Overall, it does what it says and the design screams "use me now!" There is no way you can get it any cheaper either so you're at the right place!

The oven is well built and worth the price. The cast iron (200 or so lbs) retains heat very well. The cooking part takes a bit of practice but once you have it down it is like your own brick oven. Wayfair shipment was extremely fast.

We have enjoyed this fireplace very much. The only thing is that you must cover it because it rusts very easily. Also let the fire die down before using pizza oven or they will burn. The kids enjoy making their own pizzas with their friends and my husband has used it to make other items. My daughter calls it her father's "Easy Bake oven".

In general, I love this oven/fireplace. It is a little smaller than I would have liked, but VERY solid (HEAVY). The fireplace sits a little low - I will likley construct a 'riser' for it for better viewing. The oven works awesome! Let the flames die down and use a pizza stone for great results! My only complaint - I have only used 2 times - but already, the oven door is showing extreme wear - with metal pieces falling off where the screws serve as hinges. I am considering contacting Wayfair for a replacement Oven Door.

Product came earlier than promised & the delivery guy was great! Very well packaged & easy to assemble. But be warned - it is HEAVY. I unpacked in my driveway and carried piece by to my deck for a simple assembly. (less than 4minutes to unpack & set-up and fire up!)
