the design is very appealing but you must be coordinated and cautions when removing and installing globe because of the three side screws. I was able without to much trouble, but a slip or bad move after getting a screw installed could damage the product. The positive to the three screes on the side is visual appeal and the globe is much more secure then the center mount. I lost my last globe because the center bottom nut gave way. Very much worth the extra trouble and caution when changing bulbs which basicall last forever these days any way

Very nice light. It's a little modern looking, which wasn't what I was going for, as I wanted it to essentially "disappear" as a dining room light. But it's still probably the least obtrusive of the flushmounts I looked at.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
