For over four decades, George Kovacs has been a name synonomous with contemporary design. Mr. Kovacs designed and manufactured his products from his facility in Brooklyn, NY up until a few years ago. There is a difference between buying the real thing and buying a knock-off. This is the real thing. Made with nice workmanship. It is a flexible track with great light heads. When I read the comments on installation from others, I almost passed on this. I was glad I didn't. Nothing I have ever purchased went up as easily as this. I can't even imagine what problems the others might have had. I have received numerous comments on its good looks. The install took me 15 minutes. [...] had a knock-off for $170, I'm glad I spent the additional $$ for the real deal. More, but absolutely worth it. Hint: Remove the labels/decals from the fixtures before you install them. They just peel right off and it's way easier to not be doing extra things above your head.
