This is one of my favourite pieces in my house! Easy to assemble, looks stunning, has a gorgeous, authentic heritage feel to it. Was packed beautifully upon delivery, had excellent labelling on the pieces, and I know it'll last for years.

Plan to use in entryway from garage Appears to be made of real wood and not compressed or particle board. Appears to be solid. It is shorter than what I thought it would be, would have been nicer if it was about a foot taller. Width and depth are perfect. The pictures showed one version that had a wood look bench rather than the solid black, that was what I would have preferred but it was not an option. I had a small space in the garage entry and the width and depth is perfect but it would have looked so much better if it was a foot taller.

Works great in our front entry way. The hooks will be used for the kids' backpacks and jackets and the storage bench is a catchall for shoes and anything else that needs to hide! It's not too tall which is good for us since the kids will need to reach the hooks.

All the joints were off by 2cm!!!!

After it was fully assembled (including having to use a mallet to force the joints to lock together) there were these 2cm wide slits vertically and horozontally. I tried to deal with it but my eye kept going right to those imperfections and I had to return it. The hook holes were also a pain. I had to screw them at an angle in order for them to come out upright. Which required me to force them in skillfully. Maybe a handy man could have glued and drilled it to perfection but as a 30 yr old woman, I don't have the time for that. Shame because it is beautiful and sturdy.
