Look good - lightweight

These are very lightweight and don't feel like they're designed for outdoor use. They do look great through and I haven't had any problems with them. There is nothing between the cage / wire part and the bulb, so the glass in the picture is the actual bulb (not ncluded). In other words, the buld is exposed to the elements. That may be okay though. Right now I have a regular incandecent bulb in one and a cfl in the other. Both look fine, although more "farmhouse" style. I'd probably buy these again, although they haven't yet been through a New England winter so I'll have to see how they last.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bought 2 of these to after returning lights bought at at a box store which didn't work. Instillation was very easy and I like the way they look. The metal seems pretty light weight which makes me a little concerned how they will look in a year or two. Sufficient illumination but don't expect a lot of light from just one lamp.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
