I PUT IN ENERGY SAVING BULBS AND IT IS BRIGHT ENOUGH. IT DOES NOT HAVE AN ELECTRIC EYE SO IT HAS TO STAY ON ALL THE TIME. IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND ONE WITH AN EYE.
