The Good: Everyone who sees it, loves it. Most people think it's a real pump. My cat loves to play in it as well. The Bad: It would be great if it came with a removal pot for the planter. It's a real odd shape so I'll never find one that fits, and if you are using soil, you would have to pour it directly into the planter section of the fountain. The water pump itself is a bit unpredictable. It comes out real fast when just turned on. I hold my hand in front of it to direct the water into the recycling portion to the fountain, as to not waste water.

My wife and I really enjoy this vintage pump in our outdoor garden area. Not only does it pleasantly remind us of our rural roots, it fits in perfectly with our landscaping. We have had many inquiries as to where we purchased it--sometimes even befpre they realized that it wasn't made of heavy iron.

this is a wonderful fountain. the size is great! the only thing i dislike about it is that the coloring is not quite the same as the picture shows. the parts in the picture that look more gold and brassy are not actually that bright on the actual thing. but over all i would recommend it!

Water flow too hard - had to add a valve to make it "trickle" better. Took all day to install in garden area (as shown in listing) - took forever to dig a line to electrical source.
