Milliken's roots date back to 1865 when Seth Milliken and William Deering founded Deering Milliken Company, a small woolen fabrics company in Portland, Maine. Deering soon left to start his own company. In 1868, Seth Milliken moved the company headquarters to New York City, at that time the heart of the American Textile Industry. In 1884, the company invested in a new facility in Pacolet, South Carolina, and from that basic beginning the manufacturing operations grew.

The rug is exactly what I expected. The comments I read before purchasing were very accurate and helpful. It's a bold, dramatic design but the rug is a little thin. That said, it works perfectly in my space.

I love this rug! It is great quality, nice and thick and soft. We use it in a family room and love the way it looks. We did not purchase a rug pad to go underneath it, and I don't think I will because it doesn't slide around on a wood floor and it is plenty soft. The colors are true, with no running or "gray" look.

I've had the rug for about 3 months now, the quality is good so far and its very easy to clean. I would recommend purchasing a non-slip rug pad to go with it as it does tend to slide around the floor.

I waited and waited for reviews about this rug to come up and none ever did, so I went ahead and purchased one. (the 8x10). I LOVE IT! It is a thin rug, which is the only thing I was worried about. I have all wood floors and wanted a soft surface. It is not super plush or thick, but it is still very soft and it looks amazing!! Especially freshly vacuumed. Designer rugs with this same chevron pattern cost a TON, so I was happy to find a more affordable version. I waited a month for a 25% off code and used that, so the cost for an 8x10 rug could not be beat! I am so pleased with my purchase, it is a striking rug and would go great with any colors. We have a lot of dark wood tones and it looks amazing! Love it!
