We live in a northern climate, so it will be interesting to see how long the battery life is. So far, we love the way the light illuminates our entryway at our backdoor. I put another one on my garage, to light up the alleyway. That might be a bit too large of an area, for the light to cover. However, it's better than no light at all.

It works just as advertised . I have it mounted about 10ft high. on the side of my house. Comes on from either direction at appox 20 to 15ft away.. I gave one each to my son and son- in law. Good light.
