Hideaway Greenhouse 8' x 14' Kit

With its high strength aluminum framing and the twinwall polycarbonate glazing, this greenhouse is very durable, U.V. resistant, and able to withstand harsh weather conditions. 8mm twinwall polycarbonate provides an ideal growing climate offering all the properties desired in a covering.

The Hideaway comes with 2 roof vents that can be opened manually, or you can add the automatic solar powered vents! The extra large roof vents let the hot air escape from the roof area.

The Hideaway does not require a concrete foundation. This Greenhouse can be placed on a concrete pad, brick patio (for added heat conservation), pea gravel, garden stones, lawn or a wood deck. The customer will need to provide a 2” x 4” anchored wooden frame for the greenhouse to sit on.

Complete, easy to follow assembly instructions are included with diagrams to assist you. This house is considered portable and can be taken apart and moved.

Wind and snow load ratings are not included in the manufacturers warranty statement because the loading depends on how the Hideaway is anchored at your home and on the local building codes.

The Hideaway Greenhouse has been professionally engineered to meet a 20 pounds per square foot snow load and an 80 mph wind load in accordance with the 1991 uniform building code, if a proper foundation is engineered to take in account local code requirements. We suggest you contact your local building department before construction to determine your applicable building code. Foundation engineering is specifically excluded from the Hideaway package.
