I bought this for my mother and she uses it every day - it sits on her computer desk and she turns it on while she checks her email. It fits on the desk perfectly and is unobtrusive. The ion feature is great as well and it even creates that fresh air smell you get when you've been out in the sun on a cool or wet day. One thing we've noticed is that, while my mother's only had it for a month, there is a black residue forming around the vent beneath the bulbs. I'm not sure if this is a defect or anything to worry about.

I find this lamp extremely good - it is very easy on the eyes and also large enough to be more readily used. I am very pleased with the product and with the ease of ordering. While basking in the sun in Hawaii, my daughter borrowed it and found it much better than the one she is using

I start my day in front of this light. I have more energy through the day, and I'm able to fall asleep easier at night. I like the built in timer! Several of my friends have these lights, and comparing, I know I have the best.

convenient to use. I set it on my breakfast bar and my husband and I sit in front of it while we work at the table. this was a gift for Christmas. I actually received a smaller therapy light,but this product has the ionizer which is good. The ionizer does have a somewhat "electrical" smell to it.

bad chemical plastic smell

I liked the light from this product, BUT the chemical plastic smell gave me a headache, and DID NOT wear off after a three uses as the manufacturer said it would. Thats why I am exchanging it.
