the c frame should be a little deeper of a curve when you first sit in the chair you hit your back on the frame.. the frame came with many scratches.

this unit is built very well. i didnt get anything less than i imagined. i had a chair from the outdoor co. and the quailty of the stand is the same (great!). the way it was packaged was not so great :( i got mine with a bunch of scratches on it that went through the powdercoat. i did not return it since i needed it right away and couldnt wait another week or two. so i still have to cover up these scrathes. otherwise i highly recommend the unit. its not really made at all for swinging but when you sit on the chair the stand provides almost a constant bounce unless you are very still- so i guess for me its perfect and also easy to fall asleep in with it attached to the stand. hope this helps
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
