Their materials are carefully selected and assembled to our exacting specifications. The rope they use is a strong, durable, soft-spun polyester, that resists rot and mildew; their wooden spreaders are of the highest quality oak, which is kiln-dried, molded, drilled and hand-finished with an extremely durable polyurethane; and they use heavy-duty, zinc-plated hardware for safety and durability. Each item made at their shop is inspected during every step of the process to insure the quality of the final product.
Cloud Watcher's hammocks reflect several creative alterations in the traditional rope hammock. These changes include, but are not limited to, larger dimensions, tighter weave, and built-in pockets for extra comfort and stability. Their product line also includes several other rope and wood related items, each one unique and distinctive in style, with features that reflect the comfort and function that has become synonymous with the Cloud Watcher Hammock.

The swing is very comfortable. The only problem is, I live in an old house with high ceilings even on the porch. As a result, I had to spend about $10 more on hardware to install the swing so that my feet touched the porch floor.
