Originally enjoyed only by members of nobility and young romantics, the English garden bench has long been a symbol of restful beauty and natural refinement. For centuries, a country garden would be considered incomplete if not graced with a finely crafted sitting bench set under a shady arbor, beside a gurgling fountain or along a lush hedge. From garden benches, English poets have composed their verses, artists have painted country landscapes, and naturalists have savored the distinctive beauty of the English garden. Oxford Garden Designs brings to the gardens and lawns of America the same source of beauty and style with its line of Classic English Garden Benches and the Chadwick Collection. After studying England's finest gardens, we have refined the traditional designs of their garden benches and tables, manufacturing them to meet today's standards.
