Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
I WAS TIRED OF LOOSING ALL OF BASKETS AND POT PLANTS IN THE WINTER AND WANTED A GREENHOUSE. WOULD LOVE AN ENGLISH GREENHOUSE, BUT WAY OUT OF MY BUDGET AT THIS TIME. THE POLYTEX PANELS GIVE THE LOOK OF A GLASS GREENHOUSE, BUT MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE. MY HUSBAND BUT MOST OF IT TOGETHER BY HIMSELF SEVERAL AFTERNOONS AFTER WORK. WE HAVE A PAVER AND GRAVEL FLOOR. IT IS NOW DECEMBER WITH LOW TEMPERATURES. MY PLANTS ARE DOING GREAT IN THE GREENHOUSE. THE ONLY THING I WOULD DO DIFFERENT IS ADD THE EXTENSION

[*] First, the parts arrived damaged. I called the customer service number, but no one called me back. My husband managed to straighten out the damaged metal parts, and we were able to assemble this thing. The plastic strips that are used to hold the panels down have all popped out of place. My guess is that they can't take the hot sun, and they bend. Oh, and did I mention the missing bolts? Oh, ad what about the dark green hard plastic pieces that had to be hammered into place? My brother-in-law bought his at [@], and although he paid an extra $100, it is worth it! It actually has metal pieces to hold down the panels NOT plastic strips and plastic clips! It's a junk!

Love this greenhouse - but.....
Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
Love this greenhouse - when its done its sturdy and really beautiful actually - but the instructions with no text are a bit unclear and the initial frame had a lot of the plastic end pieces that did not fit into the associated parts and despite using W-D40 we had to really pound hard to get some of the pieces in - and there is nothing to pound on. We thought we were going to break it before we had it 1/4 of the way done. Having said that - we already have tomatoes coming up after only 2 weeks in the greenhouse. And do not throw out the cardboard spacer!

Great Greenhouse
Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
This greenhouse is fabulous. We live in northern N.M. & have terrific winds & it has held up to whatever comes. The automated vent works perfect. The directions were right on as compaired to other items we have put together ourselves that make no sense. I highly recommend this unit!

Great little greenhouse
Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
I had no problems assemlying this greenhouse by myself in about 7 hours. I assembled it on a deck so I had no foundation work. The picture instructions were very easy to follow and the pieces went together easily using teflon spray and a rubber mallet. It is a very sturdy structure and should stand up well in wind. [...] All in all I like this greenhouse and look forward to its use. I got a great price and the greenhouse should add a lot to my gardening experience.

Good quality green house for the money
Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
Easy to assemble make sure the tempurature outside is above 60 degrees as the aluminum will be too tight to slip inot the jointers otherwise. Overall a nice clean looking unit easy to build took about 4hrs with two people.

Poly-Tex Greenhouse +++++
Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
This is not a project to rush into - at least we tried to take our time to ensure area, foundation, etc. would be just right for our yard, wind, and garden space. We selected the 6'x8' and ordered the 6'x 4' entension. I have wanted a greenhouse for a few years. We built the wood deck, setting 4 posts in concrete, then extended it beyond the 6x12' size. This worked nicely for us. The greenhouse directions are all visuals, which caused us to back up and revisit a few steps, but we did it in one day. When we set the frame on the wood deck base, we had to rescrew to make adjustments for the sides - as was expected. So we were glad we only set a few screws into the base. The windows (we have 2 with the extension)gave some problem as one side won't sit correctly in the hinge track, so we modified with their tape. Other that working out a few kinks as we went along, I have to say this greenhouse stood up to 50-60 mph winds! We had just installed the inside supports when the storm hit! So, this project - backyard hobby greenhouse, turned out well for us. I would caution to purchase/add any extension prior to assembly, as this appears to work much better. We would not want to dismantel it to add a section later (just a thought). [...]

Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
My wife wanted to start eating healthier, and decided that a garden was in order. But to protect the veggies from critters (bunnies, insects, squirrels) and our little boy dogs who wiz on anything vertical, she requested a small greenhouse. This product went together without much of a problem ... The directions were clear and the parts fit together as they should. We installed the 6x8 greenhouse on a 8x10 floating deck ... It took 2-1/2 days to build and level the deck base, install the decking, build the greenhouse, and secure it to the deck. It is very stable and has survived recent 35mph spring wind gusts. My wife is happy (extremely important), and I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a small greenhouse.

Ok It's a Greenhouse
Product Review for Poly-Tex Snap & Grow Silver 6' Greenhouse
You need 2 people to set this thing up. Counterintuitively you do not even construct this greenhouse on its base. That comes at step 25 where you pick the whole thing up and set it on the base. Did I mention you will need 2 people? You will need to spread out all the hundreds of parts in order to save yourself some time. Luckily all are numbered except for a few screws. The base components were not made properly and we had to use a metal grinder to make the base parts fit together. Some of the plastic connectors needed to be slighly altered to fit their respective slots also. The little tool they give you to perform some tasks is really not up to the task. Just get a proper socket or wrench and save your knuckles. If you can do this project in a day with 2 people you have done it before. Count on the project running into the second day! Interestingly, the doors were about the easiest thing to hang. I was worried that even though I was perfectly level and square that that would be a major problem, but it was relatively easy. Once all the braceing is in place and the unit secured to the base it is quite attractive. Do NOT THROW AWAY THAT CARDBOARD PIECE WITH THE NUMBER 95 ON IT. That is how you get all of the vertical components to align by using it as a spacer! Don't be alarmed at the thinness of the polycarbonate panels. They are thick enough and if they were heavier you would not be able to lift this unit up and put it onto its base. The opening roof vent is nice. The dutch style door is nice too. Use gloves or you are going to have a lot of cuts on your hands before it is all over.
