It's a good rug pad, probably rate it middle of the road for the price. I've seen really thin rug pads which this is not, and I've purchased a really thick rug pad from Macy's before which I'd say is excellent. This pad is somewhere in the middle. While the one from Macy's was thicker and better, it also cost more. This will do the job for the price.

This is a great rug pad. It prevents rugs from slipping and adds an additional layer of cushioning that makes the rug much softer to walk on. It's also very easy to cut to just the right size.

This arrived really fast in 2-days to my house. It was exactly what I needed to put under our dining room rug. It is fairly thick, so the rug sits higher on the floor, but also provides a soft feel of padding and stability.
