This first-rate structure offers the highest quality perennial gardening for those who prefer a smaller gardenhouse. The 8' x 12' has 4 air vents (on the roof and the base) that permit maximized cross air circulation for a controlled air climate.

All GardenHouses are made with the finest materials available, crafted for efficiency and excellence. The redwood frame is specifically chosen because it is heat efficient, organic, and extremely sturdy in standing up against the elements- resisting the 100 m.p.h winds of Hurricane Floyd. The roof and wall panels are made with an indestructible polycarbonate glazing which insulates and diffuses sunlight efficiently (you'll save 40% of the cost of heating a single-pane glass greenhouse). In addition, the roof has a 45-degree slant to capture more light during those short winter days when the sun is low. With a recycled plastic base, which looks like wood, there is no need to worry about its durability because the base is fungus and insect proof.

It is extremely easy to ship and assemble. Includes easy-to-follow printed instructions, labeled, pre-assembled panels, and an excellent instructional video for assembly in less than a day. The ONLY tools necessary are a 6' ladder, a tape measure, and a power drill.

12' x 31" Bench
A perfect addition to optimize your space in the Mt. Rainier 8' x 16' GardenHouse. Specially designed to match the redwood frame and run down the side of the gardenhouse, the bench runs along the full length of the side wall. It has a 5-year material and workmanship defect warranty. Up to 4 benches can be used in each GardenHouse.

NOTE: If your GardenHouse has an accessible door, you must use the 12' x 21" bench

Min/Max Thermometer
This inexpensive, easy-to-read thermometer shows the current temperature of your garden, as well as the highest and lowest temperature since reset. It is easy to mount, resets in seconds, and is readable from the doorway of your gardenhouse.

Anchor Kit (2 anchors)
An anchor system is recommended for use when a gardenhouse is exposed to winds or storm activity. For installations on soil foundations, there is the inexpensive, easy to install and very sturdy Sunshine Anchoring System, you just hammer the anchors into the soil. Includes 4 1/2 inch diameter x 16 inch rebar ribbed steel stakes. Use one set (2 anchors) for each side of your base.

Vornado Large Fan
This fan, coupled with infinite variable speed control and fully directable airflow, provides quiet and efficient cooling and air exchange. The 750G Air, the largest and most powerful Vornado Circulator, is great as a continuous run primary fan or as thermostatically controlled cooling fans to supplement a circulation fan in large gardenhouses.

Shade Cloth Kit 12' x 12'
This cover is an inexpensive and useful approach to climate control. The cloth serves as a windscreen (especially for the colder months), regulates sun exposure, and prevents overheating. It is extremely light-weight and easy to cut with an attractive knitted reen shade cloth fabric and nylon cord. The kit includes 6 plastic clip-its and comes with a 5-year material and workmanship defect warranty. A multipurpose 60% light blocking knitted weave is recommended.
