Taking advantage of this market, they began selling swing set kits at a value cost that offered a flexibility that pre-cut or boxed swing sets did not. Not only does Swing N Slide offer a wide selection of do it yourself swing sets at a great value, they meet or exceed strict American Society of Testing Materials Safety Standards.
Swing N Slide has a culture of innovation, introducing the EZ frame bracket system, designing the first plastic slide, the first climbing rock wall, and much much more!Their ingenious idea to market three levels of swing sets geared primarily towards do it yourself customers spawned the 'Ready To Build Custom,' 'Ready to Assemble No-Cut,' and 'Ready To Build Wood Complete' kits. Most of the kits available are in the 'Ready to Build Custom Group'.
Each level is sold with a level of building skill that the customer will need to assemble. For the complete do it yourself customer they offer the "Ready To Build Custom' which comes with a kit that includes assembly instructions and hardware. For the beginner do it yourself parent they offer the Ready To Assemble No-Cut' which comes with all hardware, assembly instructions and pre-cut lumber, and finally for the laid-back customer they offer the 'Ready To Assemble Wood Complete,' which is a swing set fully loaded with accessories, pre-cut lumber, and hardware. I purchased this slide for my backyard and am happy with it now that I have gotten over the extreme difficulty of assembly. The shape of the units is oval but you are supposed to rotate them as if they were a perfect circle. It was difficult to align holes and I had to completely re-drill several holes.
BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The slide was easy to assemble and use. Could not keep the grand kids off of it while we were putting it together, they even used it as a tunnel while on the ground. It was mounted to a tree house that my son in law built for his kids (2 of my grand kids). Everybody enjoys it.

A bit tight for an adult to go down. Also somewhat challenging to attach to frame because of lack of 'clearance' if you want to leave entry as open as possible. The holes force you to frame it slightly over the opening.

Slide is awesome once you get it put together. Directions are poor and trial and error r the only way we figured out which way to position it. Parts are cumbersome and took 3 people to assemble and attach. However now that it is in use, WE LOVE IT!!!!

We bought this circle slide because my son loved sliding down and climbing back up circle slides at our neighborhood parks. It is very large and at first we were feeling like we had bought more than we should have. However, after figuring out how to make it work, we love it and our son does too. I think it will be the big hit of our new play structure. My son is 2 1/2 yrs. old and loves climbing. My husband and I were able to put the slide together, but we needed another man to help attach the slide just because it is so big and awkward to lift.

you should inlist at least two others to help with this project. once assembled it's sturdy and capable handling even an adult (@ 155lbs). Great addition to any backyard swingset or tree house project.

We have built a deck floor in between three trees. This made a perfect location for a tree house as well as for accessing the spiral slide. A friend of mine helped me fix it against the frame we built ourselves. If you have not purchased an already built tower and you are making a tree house from scratch like we did, you will need to be a little creative on how to fix it and stabilize it. The kids could not wait for us to get it done. We just finished it and bought additional accessories for everyone's pleasure. Parents and kids! We are so happy we could find a 7ft tall slide.
