Swing N Slide went into business in 1980 when the idea of a do it yourself swing set was unheard of. Taking advantage of this market, they began selling swing set kits at a value cost that offered a flexibility that pre-cut or boxed swing sets did not. Not only does Swing N Slide offer a wide selection of do it yourself swing sets at a great value, they meet or exceed strict American Society of Testing Materials Safety Standards.
Swing N Slide has a culture of innovation, introducing the EZ frame bracket system, designing the first plastic slide, the first climbing rock wall, and much much more!Their ingenious idea to market three levels of swing sets geared primarily towards do it yourself customers spawned the 'Ready To Build Custom,' 'Ready to Assemble No-Cut,' and 'Ready To Build Wood Complete' kits. Most of the kits available are in the 'Ready to Build Custom Group'.
Each level is sold with a level of building skill that the customer will need to assemble. For the complete do it yourself customer they offer the "Ready To Build Custom' which comes with a kit that includes assembly instructions and hardware. For the beginner do it yourself parent they offer the Ready To Assemble No-Cut' which comes with all hardware, assembly instructions and pre-cut lumber, and finally for the laid-back customer they offer the 'Ready To Assemble Wood Complete,' which is a swing set fully loaded with accessories, pre-cut lumber, and hardware. Whatever the customer needs Swing N Slide has the product!
Cool Wave Slide
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Giant Cool Wave Slide
Mounted the slide a tad over five feet and built a small retaining area at the base. The area at the base is filled with four inches of rubber mulch. Works great. The three and four year old grandchildren love it. It is a bit fast at this height but the rubber mulch makes a soft landing when they end up on there rear rather than their feet.

Fast Slide!
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Giant Cool Wave Slide
I'm very happy with this slide but I'd just like to echo the other review that said this is a very fast slide if mounted above 5 ft. Older kids love it but my 3 year old will not go down by herself. I'm not looking for something to slow it down!

Granddaughter LOVES her new slide.
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Giant Cool Wave Slide
The 3 year old is very excited about her new big girl slide. This will last her quite a few years. Her daddy build a swing set and fort out of 4x4's. Much better than a store bought metal set that can flip over if swinging too high.

Delivered by a big truck. Make sure you have a way for the truck to get out of you driveway if you live in a rural area.

Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Giant Cool Wave Slide
I attached this slide to a clubhouse platform that I made. The easy assembly and strong mounting screws made the job a cinch. I attached it in less than five minutes. Great product.

A little too fast
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Giant Cool Wave Slide
I mounted this to a 5'4" deck height, as this slide was rated at up to a 5'6" height. The slide is too steep at that height so kids go pretty fast. That wouldn't be too big of a deal, but the bump in the middle of the slide launches the kids into the air a little, and then land on the bottom and go flying. We've had several kids remark it's "too fast" and a "dangerous" slide, but the older kids (5+) all end up getting the hang of how to control their speed and end up enjoying it. So far all the 3 and 4 year olds on it have wanted to be assisted down the slide and are too scared to go on their own. I'd suggest that it probably would work best at about a 4'6" height, or no more than 5'. Beyond this issue it seems to be good quality and it was easy to put into place. It is pretty strong with the support in place. I've gone down it as have other adults -- the only issue with that is it isn't wide enough for our butts to fit!

Required about 45 min to install since I have clay soil. A second person is a big help. Fast and fun, my kid & his friends like it.
