Swing N Slide went into business in 1980 when the idea of a do it yourself swing set was unheard of. Taking advantage of this market, they began selling swing set kits at a value cost that offered a flexibility that pre-cut or boxed swing sets did not. Not only does Swing N Slide offer a wide selection of do it yourself swing sets at a great value, they meet or exceed strict American Society of Testing Materials Safety Standards.
Swing N Slide has a culture of innovation, introducing the EZ frame bracket system, designing the first plastic slide, the first climbing rock wall, and much much more!Their ingenious idea to market three levels of swing sets geared primarily towards do it yourself customers spawned the 'Ready To Build Custom,' 'Ready to Assemble No-Cut,' and 'Ready To Build Wood Complete' kits. Most of the kits available are in the 'Ready to Build Custom Group'.
Each level is sold with a level of building skill that the customer will need to assemble. For the complete do it yourself customer they offer the "Ready To Build Custom' which comes with a kit that includes assembly instructions and hardware. For the beginner do it yourself parent they offer the Ready To Assemble No-Cut' which comes with all hardware, assembly instructions and pre-cut lumber, and finally for the laid-back customer they offer the 'Ready To Assemble Wood Complete,' which is a swing set fully loaded with accessories, pre-cut lumber, and hardware. Whatever the customer needs Swing N Slide has the product!

Discover how great Discovery Mt. is!
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Discovery Mountain Climbing Wall
We attached it to an existing fort/play structure at 4 1/2'. The 4' recommendation would be ideal and the 5' would be too steep. My 7 year old daughter loves it and climbs up and down it with no problem. Unlike our 2 year old daughter who is looking forward to growing into it. I think a non slip grip tape would be good on the stepping stone part due to it being slippery when it rains or when the sprinkler is on.

Beware the Picture is Inaccurate
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Discovery Mountain Climbing Wall
If we could get the Pictured Product again we would say that the product was wonderful. Our physically challange child could actually climb up the Pictured mountain climber and not have a problem. But the pictured item isn't available and replaced with another non-pictured item which isn't adaptable for our child...This picture needs to be updated......Thank you.....

Great product
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Discovery Mountain Climbing Wall
I bought this climbing wall in place of a ladder on the loft bed we were building our young sons. It it VERY sturdy and could support the whole family at the same time! My son loves it and it looks nice in his room. I feel a lot more comfortable with him using this wall over a ladder. It is easier for me to use too! The wall shipped very fast and come in a plastic bag so it was easy to carry and I did not have to throw out a huge box. You do have to supply your own wood and a little skill to build the necessary support structure under the wall. The directions were clear and all the holes in the wall were pre-drilled. This was a great purchase.

Tricky climb
Product Review for Swing-n-Slide Discovery Mountain Climbing Wall
Our 2 year old has trouble climbing up. Then again, so does our 5 year old. 5' deck height makes for a steep climb with few handholds. Will support my weight (> 200 lb), but I don't want to push it.
