The Telescope Cot Bed & Novelty Company was founded in 1903. Telescope draws its name and rich heritage from their original line of cots and camp stools with "telescoping" legs.When Telescope became popular for beach furniture, the company ran under the name Telescope Folding Furniture Company. Later, it adopted its current name, Telescope Casual Furniture, Inc.
In the mid-1970's, Telescope took the industry by surprise with its innovative replaceable sling and powder-coated aluminum leisure furniture. Our Slings are now considered the standard in the industry.
Telescope Casual now manufactures a wide array of outdoor furnishings, including metal chairs, chaise loungers and umbrellas.

Product Review for Telescope Casual 48" Round Acrylic Table
A gust of extremely heavy wind sent our glass table soaring smack into a stone wall. This table we chose as a replacement is exponentially better than the original. First of all, in over 45 years of assembling furniture, I have never had an easier time. It took seven minutes from packaging to the completion of the assembly. Secondly, this is a marvel of simple engineering. The table is unbelievably sturdy without a single screw, bolt, nut, or strange hex-head fastener. Last, but by no means least, the table is attractive and functional. The chairs from our set fit wonderfully underneath. I am pleased to see great product development, engineering, and tooling simply applied to an everyday item.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
