We really liked how it immediately make the firepit "look" better ( new again) and as for function it is working out great so far! We have lots of fires starting in the Fall and continuing through early Summer. It is going to get lots of use. We thought we'd have to buy a new unit entirely, so were very happy to just find this part.

This screen assembly is medium quality and not worth the price. I could have bought a whole new firepit for a little bit more money. Or went to hardware store and rigged some chicken wire or fencing for less. I have owned many firepits, so I know the quality, I bought this replacement cause it was ranked 4, its not. It might suite ur needs for an occasional wood fire, but I burn alot and it won't last long. [...]
